Bunnies Thrive When Living in Pairs or Groups
When deciding to adopt a bunny, many people often think that they'll just get one because that seems to work fine with cats and dogs, and they're concerned that more than one would be too much work. The truth is that most bunnies are happiest living with at least one other bunny, so serious thought should be given to adopting a bonded pair. It is no more work to have two bunnies than it is to have one, and the joy is doubled when you see them snuggling, playing, grooming and sleeping together. Even when doted upon by their humans, a bonded mate gives a special kind of companionship that cannot be replicated by humans. If you have three or more, the amount of work and expense does increase, but for just two it really doesn't since they are sharing food, housing, litter box, etc.
