Please help save the precious lives of bunnies by adopting and giving them the loving home they deserve. We rescue as many bunnies as we can from high-kill shelters and provide temporary foster homes until they are adopted into loving forever homes. As bunnies get adopted, it frees up space and allows us to save more from high-kill shelters. That's what we at the Sweetpea Foundation are working so hard to make happen.
Bunnies make wonderful pets and are smart, playful, affectionate, sweet and easily litterbox trained. Won't you please adopt a bunny or two? You can save a life and add a lot of joy to yours!
Volunteers will be at each event to provide bunny care information and answer your questions.

Bunny Adoption Days

There are no events currently scheduled; adoption events will be posted when dates and locations are confirmed. Please e-mail us with inquiries; appointments can be made to come meet the bunnies at the rescue.

Please fill out the Adoption Application on the Contact Us tab and e-mail it to us prior to the event or bring it with you. If there is a specific bunny you are interested in, please let us know in advance so we can make every effort to have that bunny at the event with us.

Bunny Dating Service!
Does your bunny need a honey?! Despite being lavished with love from their humans, bunnies thrive when they have at least one other bunny living with them. Having two bunnies is no more work than one, and the joy is doubled by watching them play and snuggle together. If you have a single bun and would like to find him/her a friend, contact us and we can set up bunny dating to see who gets along together best. Everybunny needs somebunny sometimes....
